DIY | Men’s bracelets with semi-precious stones

In this week’s blog post we focus on braided bracelets with semi-precious stones for men.

Smyks offers a vast assortment of semi-precious stones and fine gemstones like sapphire, ruby and emerald.

In our examples, we either braided the bracelets – integrating  the gemstones – or we simply strung the semi-precious stones on a cord and closed it with a locking bead.

The elegant, elongate locking beads are available in sterling silver and gilded sterling silver.

Additionaly, we have just received a new delivery of matte black 1.5mm nylon cord which is perfectly suited for braiding Shamballa style bracelets.

Bracelets with Emerald, Lapis lazuli and Amazonite

We used the following materials to assemble this bracelet:

• 6 x lapis lazuli, matte, 10mm
• 2 x lapis lazuli, 10mm
• 2 x aventurine, faceted, 10mm
• 2 x gilded steel bead, 10mm
• 2 x lapis lazuli, 8mm
• 1 x emerald, 10mm
• 1 x locking bead, gilded sterling silver
• ca. 30cm nylon cord, 0.9mm, black
• ca. 2m nynlon cord, 1.5mm, black, matte
• lighter

• 2 x pyrite with grooves, 10mm
• 1 x bead with zirkonia, silver-plated brass, 10mm
• 2 x blackstone, matte, 8mm
• 1 x locking bead, sterling silver
