- 2 rings 14x1mm, gold-plated brass
- 1 pair of earwires with spiral and ball, gold-plated sterling silver
+ Nymo beading thread, size B, black (you can also use a different size)
Clip off approx. 1m of thread. Pull the thread to straighten it.
Then you sew the first row of beads onto the ring as explained in the blog post Hoops with Delica beads.
The end of the thread should be approx. 10cm long.
Fasten the next bead.
Fasten 7 beads onto the ring.
String the appropriate number of beads for the first fringe.
Skip the last bead and sew back through all the other beads.
Hold the last bead tightly while you pull the thread all the way up.
Now you make the next fringe. Sew through the adjacent bead in the first row - top down.
String the respective number of beads. Skip the last bead and sew back through all the other ones in the fringe.
Continue like this and fasten the remaining fringes to the ring. The number of beads on each fringe inceases up to the middle, from threre on it decreases.
Once all the fringes are done, you fasten the thread by sewing it up. Sew back through the second last bead in the first row.
Afterwards, you sew through the next bead in the first row - from the bottom up. Continue sewing through the beads in the first row several times.
The end of the thread is sewn up in the same way. Clip off the end of the threads.
Open the eylet on the earwire carefully ... insert the ring ... and close the eyelet again.
