Bracelet with Bunches of Grapes

We used the following components to make this bracelet:

Miyuki seed beads, size #11, luster salmon

Miyuki seed beads, size #11, light green

Miyuki seed beads, size #11, dark puple, silver-lined

approx. 1m FireLine, 6LB, black

2 closed jumprings, 5mm, gold-plated steel

1 open jumpring, 5mm, gold-plated steel

2 crimp beads, gold-plated metal

1 lobster claw clasp, 9mm, gilded steel

+ chain-nose pliers

First, you string a crimp bead and a closed jumpring.

Then, you sew back through the crimp bead.

Pull the crimp bead all the way down to the ring.

Flatten the crimp bead with chain-nose pliers and cut off the excess thread.

String 20 salmon-coloured beads.

String 2 green beads + 1 purple + 1 green bead ...

... and sew back through the first green bead in order to form a circle.

Tighten the thread.

Sew through the next green bead.

String 2 purple beads and sew through the purple bead.

Tighten the thread. String again 2 purple beads ... sew through the next green bead...

... and continue through 2 green beads ... 1 purple bead ...

and the next purple bead.

String 3 purple beads and sew through the next purple bead.

Tighten the thread.

Sew through the next purple bead ... the green bead ...

.... and the green bead next to it.

Tighten the thread. The first bunch of grapes is done. String 20 salmon-coloured beads and sew the next bunch of grapes in the same way. Continue like that until the bracelet has got the right length.

To finish the bracelet, you string a crimp bead and a closed jumpring. You sew back through the crimp bead and flatten it.

Then, you cut off the excess thread.

Fasten a lobster claw clasp to one of the rings with the help of an open jumpring.

Now, the bracelet is done. Optionally, you can add a chain extender to make the bracelet adjustable.
