Smyks has acquired an exclusive line of earwires and connectors. The earwires consists of oxidised sterling, with 4 small zirconia in each.
The earwires can be bought in 3 distinct versions, and you can easily combine the pieces in a manner of ways, creating your own designs.
The following are examples in which you can combine earwires, connectors, coins and chains, resulting in your own beautiful selection of earrings.
Earring with chain
For this piece, the following materials were applied:
1 pair earwire in oxidised sterling with plate and crystals.
1 pair earthreads in oxidised sterling, with eye.
Carefully open the eye in the earwire and twist it gently in one direction. You can use a plier for this process.
You will now put the eye of the earthread, on the eye of the earwire and close the twisted part of the eye, possibly with a plier.
Earrings with connector and thread
For this earring, the following materials were used:
1 pair oxidised sterling earwires with zirconia
2 pcs. connector with cubic zirconia, oxidised sterling
1 pair earthreads in oxidised sterling.
Gently open the eyes of the earwire and the connector, and put the parts together together.
Earring with diamond-shaped connector
For this earring, the following materials were used:
1 pair earwire in oxidised sterling, diamond-shaped
2 pcs. diamond-shaped connector with cubic zirconia
1 pair. earthreads in oxidised sterling.
Gently open the eyes of the earwire and the connector, and put the parts together together.
Earrings with coins
For these earrings the following materials were used:
1 pair. earwires, oxidised sterling with crystals
2 pcs. coins, oxidised sterling, 6mm
Gently open the eye of the earwire, put in the coin and close it again.
Earrings with gilded coins
For these earrings the following materials were used:
1 pair earwires, oxidised sterling with circle-shape and zirconia
2 pcs. oxidised sterling coin, 6mm
2 pcs. gilded sterling coin, 10mm
This process is the same as with the other earrings. You put the coin on the earwire by gently opening up the eye of the earwire, putting the coin inside it and closing it again.

Earrings with connector and coin
For these earrings the following materials were used:
1 pair earwires, oxidised sterling, circle-shaped
2 pcs. connector with cubic zirconia, black sterling
2 pcs. coin, oxidised sterling, 6mm
This earring was made by using the same steps as the other earrings. You put the parts together by the eyes. The eye of the earwire can be opened and placed in the connector’s lower eye, which enables you to place the coin in the lowest part of the jewellery piece.
Earrings with diamond-shaped flower, connector and coin.
For these earrings the following materials were used:
1 par earwires, oxidised sterling with diamond-shaped plate and crystals
2 stk. connector with zirconia, diamond-shaped
2 stk. coin, oxidised sterling, 6mm
First, you open up the eye of the earwire, put on the connector and then closed the eye again. Step two, you open the eye of the connector, put on the coin and close the eye again.
Both the eye of the earwire and the eye of the connector can be opened.
