Headpins other metals

Headpins or Eye-pins in nickel-free metals

Here you will find Smyks' selection of headpins in nickel-free and hypoallergenic metal. Usually Stainless steel, brass or copper wire is used, which is gold-plated or silver-plated. These beading rods are recommended if you are a beginner and need to learn how to make eyelets. Once you are familiar with the technique, consider buying the more expensive sterling silver models.
Please note that headpins may appear crooked or uneven in the thread, this is normally not grounds for complaint Headpins must be bent and moulded during use and crookedness is therefore of no practical importance.
The beading rods allow you to make an eye on beads, so they can be used as pendants in earrings, necklaces or as charms in bracelets. There are several main types of bead pins, the most popular models are bead pins with a small ball at the end as well as eye pins (bead pins with an eye), as well as cluster ball head pins and head pins with a discreet flat plate at the end like a nail. Instructions on how to make a loop on a bead can be found in a video guide here or a step-by-step guide here
